This isn't a score and it can't predict who gets hired. It compares words. If a finance advert in Kigali asks for reconciliations, payroll and IFRS, and your CV says only accounts, it shows you those gaps so you can decide what's honest to add. What you paste isn't stored and isn't sent anywhere.
How to use the result
- Add a missing word only when it's true for you, and show where you used it.
- Use the advert's own words. If it says stakeholders and your CV says partners, you can use both.
- Move the matching experience higher up, near the top of your first page.
- Ignore words about the employer itself. They aren't skills.
Where to find an advert to check
Open any role on our jobs pages, copy the full text and paste it here. Each advert links back to the employer's own page, so you can check it's still open. A lot of the technology roles we list are remote, and many ask for very specific tools by name, so this check helps most with those.
Questions people ask
Will this tell me whether I'll get the job?
No. It only counts words. A person, or the employer's own system, decides who gets an interview, and experience counts for more than vocabulary.
Is my CV saved?
No. The text stays on the page while it's open and goes when you close it. Nothing reaches us.
